Review by hotel critic
During my recent stay at Restaurant Hotel Merlet, I was pleasantly surprised by the blend of luxury and value offered at this charming establishment in a tranquil neighborhood. The room was tastefully decorated with fresh beds that ensured a good night's sleep, and the spacious bathroom added an extra touch of comfort. The standout feature was undoubtedly the Michelin starred restaurant, which was the highlight of my trip. The meticulously curated dining experience felt like a journey through a culinary art exhibit, with each course expertly designed and paired with exquisite wines.Despite the initial hiccup with the room, the staff promptly addressed the issue, providing an upgraded room that exceeded expectations. The breakfast was a delightful spread, and the small swimming pool was a nice touch for relaxation. If you're looking for a retreat that balances luxury with affordability, this hidden gem is a wise choice.
